POSITION: SALES MANAGER


Massimo De Carlo gallery is seeking a full-time sales associate for our Milan location to join our team. Position may require travel to our London, and Hong Kong galleries as well as to various art fairs.  Candidate must be a motivated and experienced sales person.



Key responsibilities and duties:

- Generating new clients and sales
- Managing contact negotiations and conclusions
- Client and customer consulting and analysis
- Ensuring current existing client network through regular meetings and visits
- Assisting with curating exhibitions and art fair planning
- Fair manager: select artworks for the fairs, prepare proposals for booth organisation, be present at the art fairs, follow up with new clients, develop networking skills through meetings and dinners on-site


Personal profile:

- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management in Arts, Art and Business or an Art/History of Art/Design related degree
- At least five years experience selling in the fine arts sector
- Proficiency with mac/Ios
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Web-based programs
- Exceptional customer service and sales skills
- Enthusiasm and a positive outlook
- High flexibility and willingness to travel
- Well-organised
- Foreign language skills strongly preferred
- Eager for new challenges
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Possession of a driver’s license (Class B)
